Laughing Muse has been amazing these past few weeks – offering tips and hints for lil’ ole unemployed me – from the consultant/contractor employee perspective. So, while I keep my fingers crossed and wait for more interviews, I’m going to do something I’ve been meaning to spend time on for months – finish off the websites for some non-profit organizations and friends. They may not pay much (or at all) but it’ll give me something productive to do next week.

Now, if only I could remember why we chose this colour scheme in the first place…

    1. Thanks for stopping by my spot for TT. Looks like you got a nice thing going on over here so your getting the ol’ bookmark for my easy return. Good luck with landing a job and I am sure that doing the work for the nonprofits and friends will be beneficial and get you ready for star performance.

Wishing you well and enjoy the day

    2. *laugh*

Muse is a pretty awesome chick, isn’t she?

    3. That’s one of the few things unemployment is good for: time to finish up all those little projects.

Unfortunately, it usually also leaves me enough mental downtime that I think of four or five new ones…

    4. Good luck getting a new job!!! I’m sure you’ll find one soon — so sure. It’s great that you’re keeping busy in the meantime. Good on you! :)

    5. Best of luck on the job front and I hope you had a great weekend!

    6. Oh, She… here’s another reason to stay off the self-pity couch… I just handed you a Thinking Blogger Award. Go check it out! :D

    7. I have to agree with Laughing Muse. I had a week off from everything a couple of weeks ago, and I finished up a lot of different projects. However, I started work on a bunch of new ones. Now, I’m back where I started.

Good luck with getting a job.
