    Interested in helping the Alberta Browncoats with their annual fundraising efforts?
    We are looking for people to knit Jayne Hats for us to sell at conventions and Can’t Stop the Serenity (CSTS) events. Proceeds from the hat sales help fund our annual CSTS event in Edmonton each June. Fundraising efforts by the Alberta Browncoats benefit Equality Now, Kids Need to Read, and the Edmonton Youth Emergency Shelter Society.

  • Welcome to the home of the Alberta Browncoats Society. The Alberta Browncoats are the current organizers of the Edmonton Can't Stop the Serenity event. Can't Stop The Serenity is a global series of screenings of the film Serenity, held to raise money and awareness for Equality Now, an international women's rights advocacy group. Can't Stop The Serenity events are held on (or around) June 23, which is writer / director Joss Whedon's birthday, through the Serenity Release Anniversary, September 30.
